No pistachios for the meantime

The Food and Drug Administration (or FDA) warned consumers not to eat pistachios because of  possible content of salmonella.

Another scary news broke out about pistachios yesterday. After the milk scare last year, now pistachios is next. So I had to stop buying pistachios for the meantime until the salmonella scare is over. I really know why the recall issue came out suddenly.

Roasting is the best process to kill microorganisms for pistachios. Make sure that packaging process is clean. The facility is free from rats, mice or birds because those animals can carry diseases and transmit into foods like pistachios then to human. The consequence of taking a food with salmonella is diarrhea, fever and cramping. It is life-threatening for people with weak immune system, specially for children and elderly.

That recall issue was alarming for our food that we take. Food industries must be neat in packaging and the facility to store nuts properly. Also, hygeine is very important for the food industry employees for the benefit of safety of consumers. Sanitation is a big factor to maintain cleanliness of food processor or packager.

For us, as consumers, it’s an isolation problem. I hope that issue will resolve as soon as possible. Let’s try other nuts like almonds and hazelnut instead of pistachios. Always check the exact expiration date to know and be wise in choosing the product.

Pizza Hut Craving Experience

3_pizzasLast weekend, my friends and I decided to order 4 super supreme pan pizza, 3 buffalo burnin hot chickens, 8 liters of pepsi, 3 taters and 3 Hershey’s chocolate dunkers at Pizza Hut online for delivery. One of my friend, Fernando, brought some red wine. The occasion was my friend, Gabriel, celebrated his departure party. He was scheduled to fly possibly next week to Tokyo for his technical mission.

I can’t resist those foods that we ordered at Pizza Hut despite our last gathering with Gabriel. It was our special meal that night. I used to skip my dinner to make way for the farewell party. We were satisfied for the pan pizza that we ordered but one of my generous friend ordered 2 pizza again! Our belly felt started to grow because of eating too much all ordered stuffs.

I like the stuff of super supreme pan pizza everytime I chew it. It’s the combination of ham, pepperoni, beef, Italian sausage, red onions, mushrooms, green peppers, and black olives at the top, which you can’t resist in biting. I forgot already how many slice of pizza that I took. My mouth was so hot because of buffalo burnin hot chicken but it’s still delicious. It tastes like mashed potato if you take taters. It’s crunchy. For Hershey’s chocolate dunkers as our dessert, it’s truly tempting if you’re chocoholic. Just grab the stick and dip it with chocolate sauce. I was wondering the taste of hershey’s chocolate dunkers, which it’s so hard to explain about the unique sweetness of chocolate. All I can say, it’s a terrific food that you can’t resist but be balance in eating that we take.

The Pringles Experience

PringlesPringles is one of my favorite snack when I’m watching TV, playing computer games, reading books or comics, even nothing. I buy pringles at one of my favorite convenient stores. My favorite flavor is the original flavor. I tried other flavors such as sour cream and onion, cheddar cheese and pizza. That snack makes me irresistible when I eat Pringles.

Unlike other potato snacks, Pringles is not greasy in your hands when you pick a stack of potato chips inside the cylinder pack. It tastes so good and tangy while munching it. Also, the fat content is very tiny, which you can see at the nutrition information of that product.

There are three purposes in buying Pringles: (1) for the snack party with your family, kins or friends. They’re tempting to eat Pringles while have some fun with people around you. Another, it’s their snack while watching their favorite movies, meetings, fun activites and more!; (2) it is the best gift for your special someone. If you’re generous enough to your loved ones, share one or more Pringles. Maybe she’s so happy for you; and (3) for your pleasure to taste different flavors of Pringles to choose. If you’re craving unexpectedly, try Pringles and the motto: “Once you pop, you can’t stop!”

There are Pringles products and flavors are coming out these days. If you wish to explore more about Pringles, visit http://www.pringles.com.
